The Engadin is a small valley with a long memory. The chalets that matter are rarely advertised, and the ones that are tend not to be the ones you want. We hold a short list, season by season, and we do not extend it for the sake of volume.
Each house is taken with staff: a chef who understands mountain cooking, housekeeping, and a driver who knows the passes in weather. Firewood, ski storage and boot fitting are handled before the first morning.
The valley itself
Ski access and private instruction are arranged for the length of the stay, including off piste guiding for those who want it. Tables that are otherwise closed, particularly in high season and across the weeks when the frozen lake is in use, are held well in advance.
